UKChatlineone - The Chat Zone For Friendly Banter And Healthy Debate

UKChatlineone is an online community that offers everything you need in a friendly environment. With both Forums and Chat, we have a great platform on which we can offer friendly banter and healthy debates on a wide range of subjects. Our members are made up of people from all over the world, though the server is based in a UK Datacenter. We offer a wide range of services to both non-members and members alike. The community is staffed by volunteer members, which are also responsible for the various areas of the site as detailed below, if you do have any problems, they will be able to resolve them, to help ensure that your experience is a pleasant one.

Registration

When registering at UKChatlineone, your email is only visible to the top level admins, and will remain confidential. In your control panel, you also have options that can control what information is displayed in your user profile, and also who can view your profile. Registering grants you unrestricted access to all of the services and features that are offered by UKChatlineone.

Forums

With the site being based around the popular forum software vBulletin, it provides us with a very versatile platform to which we can add to. The forums is a great place to discuss recent News and Current Affairs, we also have a Photography, Graphics and Art forum, which allows members to showcase some of their photography work, or recent art that they've been working with. There's also some members which are vary good at using the various graphics manipulation packages out there such as Adobe Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, so if you need any advice when editing your photo's or images, it's a good place to start. A Few of our members are budding computer enthusiasts, and a vast majority of them have been there and done that, so if you're experincing any PC related problems, register and create a post in the PC Repair Corner and one of them will respond with some advice.

Chat

For those of you that prefer real time chat, there is a chat server that accepts connections from the popular Mirc program, we also have a Java chat application for those that prefer to access via the website. It's recommended that you register to make full use of the java chat application, as it is slightly restricted to anonymous users. There is a freindly team of people to help with any problems that you may encounter, just join #help. There is a diversity of rooms, from general chat, to specific subjects, as well as a few Trivia Quiz rooms, try your luck - you might enjoy it. We can also accomodate for communities that wish to have a chat room, but don't wish to have the administration that goes into it, we can even assist you getting the Javachat applet up and running on your own site.

Arcade

With the site being based around vBulletin, we have been able to integrate the v3Arcade addon into it. This allows for us to offer members the ability to choose from a range of games to play, which is constantly being added to. It also allows for a little rivalry, as you can challenge other members to a game of your choice, and see which one of you comes out on top. It will also suggest other games for you to play based on the game your currently playing.
