Could be one for future attacks

I was a migraine sufferer for many years.
It seems that as I've got older,I've outgrown it.
Now I get rashes and arthritis with stress.

I still get migraines which, unfortunately, can last up to three days at a time. Whilst in hospital, a few years ago now, I was given a concoction of herbs steeped in very hot water and told to inhale the steam from it. I wish I knew what it was since it's the only thing I've ever been given that has alleviated the pain.

When I used to get migraine really badly,the doctor would come out and give me an injection that gave me oblivion for several hours.I was so grateful,but I don't suppose
that whatever it was,was good for me.

My migraines last for days too, I've not had one for quite some time, though recently was hit by one that knocked me on my rear. I get all nauseated with it too, so it's a dark quiet room with just me and a bucket for a few days. If I can catch it at the onset with Anadin Extra (don't ask me why, they just tend to work well when compared to painkillers prescribed by the doctor), I can stave it off, it takes a little while to shift, but only about a day or so, and it also means I'm not as nauseated.

I've tried Migraleve, Solphadol, Solphadine, Dyhydrocodeine and quite a few others, but none of them even scratch the surface.

At least with something like that, if I understand the concept correctly, even if it doesn't do any good, it can't do any harm - unlike various medications which can have side effects which are often worse than the condition they're supposed to be treating.
