When Tiscali closed its chat server our community relocated and became known as UKChatlineone.
UKChatlineone offers everything anybody could possibly want from an online community. A chat server which provides a fun, safe environment to chat in. Forums which are home to lively debates, discussions, news and friendly banter. There's even a community radio you can tune into, not only to listen to music whilst you enjoy the forums and chat server, but also to join in with the interactive quizzes, games and karaoke our DJs host on a regular basis.
New members will always be made to feel welcome on the provision they comply with our rules. The most important rule, however, is to have fun and enjoy the time you spend with the community.
We are always interested in listening to member feedback and suggestions. This is your community; get involved and help to make it the best it can be. The chat server hosts a variety of channels, from the gentler environment of the all ages rooms to the more robust adult only ones. It can be accessed via an IRC client such as mIRC or via the Java Applet available from the 'Java Chat' link provided at the top of this page or via the link provided in the forums.
#UKChat-Portal
This channel is the server’s default room which is moderated by a team of volunteers armed with swivel sweepers. If accessing chat via the Java Applet you will be automatically joined to this channel. When chatting in this room bear in mind that the channel is intended for use by all age groups and therefore your chat must be suitable to be read by younger members. Swearing and explicit sexual innuendos are not allowed in this room; offenders will be deftly brushed out of the door by one of the swivel sweeping warrior ops.
You're under no obligation to remain in #UKChat-Portal and are more than welcome to join one of the other rooms on the server. If you prefer a more adult oriented chat experience there are several 18+ rooms available.

This channel is where you'll find the chat server's Admin, IRCops and Helpers lurking, and as its name implies is the one to join should you require any assistance with any aspect of the services provided by UKChatlineone. Whilst these mad fools are primarily there to look after the chat server they can also point you in the right direction should you have any inquiries about the forums or radio.
#Help is logged 24/7 so should the senile old gits be taking forty winks when you join the channel; type your query in the room, then part, and you'll be contacted as soon as one of them wakes up again.
We would appreciate it if you would respect the privacy of others needing help and don't linger in this channel once your own queries have been attended to.

Music is streamed 24/7 with live broadcasts from the DJs every night. Join in with the variety of quizzes and games on offer or just listen to music as you chat or post. If you would like to become more involved, potential new DJs and suggestions for future events on the radio are very welcome and will be given due consideration.
